The PADI Open Water Diver course is the single most popular diving course in the world. Open Water Diver is the first level of PADI scuba certification, your ticket to exciting adventure in the underwater world.

The course consists of five classroom (academic) sessions, five confined water sessions ie. shallow water sessions and four open water dives. We run all nine water sessions from the boat at no extra charge, this provides students with hands on boat diving experience aswell as seeing underwater marine life from the outset. It also makes your training more fun, and provides a wide choice of dive sites from sheltered shallow lagoons for the confined sessions through to more adventurous dive sites for the open water dives. This alone puts our open water diver course a head and shoulders above the rest, as many courses are initially run in swimming pools.

The course runs twice a month from May - September(please get in contact for dates), the course can also be run over weekends also. We pride ourselves in top quality training and instruction and therefore keep the student to instructor ratio to a maximum of four students per instructor. One of the most important things in any training course is the experience of the instructor, please click here to find out more about our instructors. The course can also be run privately on a (one on one) basis, this is quite popular in the winter months and dry suit training is included.
